People say that it is never too early or too late to start training in sports. While it may be true in some cases, hockey may not be one of them. There is not a set age limit after which a child is believed to be ready to play hockey. It is more or less dependent on the individual physical and mental development. Hockey is a sport where you have to be able to stand on both of your feet and react to your surroundings. Before around age 4 children may not be ready to face such violent conditions.
